city based edan realty group arya sumant has launched a rooftop solar project comprising 4,300 dwelling units on a 23 acres plots acqired from the national textile corporation. the project, which will come up in the effordable housing segment, while enable occupants not only to have dwelling units at effordable rates, but also save on maintenance charges they would otherwise have to pay in common service areas. we will generate about 1.6 MW through rooftop solar units at this project which will have 4,300 apartments, said joint managing director of eden realty group arya sumant . this would be grid connected power, he said .

A daytime 1.5 MW solar power plant can reduce 1.2 tonnes of carbon dioxide emission on an hourly basis , he said

whose air conditioning charges would be reduced due to roof -top installations.
Eden realty chairman sachchidanand Rai said that the flats would be priced between Rs 4.95 lakh and 20.2 lakh the project would also have other facilities like a mall with a multiplex and a hyper market.
